Counseling BIPOC clients
Being part of the BIPOC community is a reason to be proud, celebrate, and to take ownership of a diverse and culturally rich identity.
There is an extensive history of marginalization, oppression, and racism. BIPOC individuals can experience stress, trauma, violence, and discrimination in everyday life.

Counseling BIPOC Clients
Intersectionality
Rose recognizes that individuals may belong to multiple marginalized groups, and their experiences are shaped by the intersection of various identities (e.g., race, gender, sexual orientation).
Rose is mindful of these intersecting factors and will consider them in my approach.
Cultural Sensitivity
Rose understands the importance of cultural values, family dynamics, and community support in the lives of BIPOC individuals. Rose will tailor counseling approaches to respect and integrate these cultural elements.
Trauma-Informed Care
Rose is aware of the potential impact of historical trauma and generational trauma within BIPOC communities.
Rose will use trauma-informed approaches to address the unique mental health needs that may arise from these experiences.
Empowerment and Strength-Based Approaches

Rose will focus on strengths and resilience within BIPOC communities. Rose emphasizes empowerment and collaborate with clients to build on their strengths as they navigate challenges.
